Decanter centrifuge

GHT PF

How does it work?

The P (proportional) type decanter centrifuge is characterised by one electric motor, driven by an inverter, which transmits the movement to the screw and the bowl, thus allowing a direct variation of the bowl revs. in proportion to the screw.
In addition to the proportional variation, the screw rotation full can be generated by replacing the pulleys with others provided in the equipment.

The working principle of the decanter centrifuge is based on the specific weight difference of the solid-liquid substances to treat. The separation takes place in the bowl, which rotates at high speed and multiplies thousands of times the force of gravity. The screw’s function is to put out the solid, which deposits in the bowl.

Efficacy

The product is ideal for the treatment of suspended solid with constant characteristics

Compact and silent

The construction concept allows having a compact and silent transmission.

Electronical control

The decanter centrifuge can be managed automatically from PLC and HMI.

Strength points

The construction concept allows having an extreme compact and silent drive system with an automatic belt tension system.
Adequate probes control the drive power and regulate the flowrate.
The position of the drive system allows to have it all on one side and to have access to any adjustment part.
This model is suitable when the material to treat has constant values in relation to the percentage of the suspended solids in the liquid.
